May 2013
Reptile Survey at Rowsley. Last year's visit was unsuccessful due to the poor weather on the day, it is hoped to organise another survey this summer. Unfortunately there has been a delay in sorting this out for the original proposed date around the 18th/19th May. Keep an eye out for a revised date later in the year.

Other planned meetings in 2013 will include
Slow-worm Survey field meeting(s) Hassop / Longstone
This is being planned with the Peak Park Rangers to look at a site or two on steep south facing limestone slopes for slow-worm after a couple of animals have been found in the area. Cover objects will be put out and survey visits organised in the summer.

July 2013
Sunday, 7 July - Lakeside Festival
From 12 noon to 4pm. Location Kirk Hallam Lake off Godfrey Drive, Kirk Hallam, Ilkeston DE7 4HN. We will be having a stand at this event organised by the Friends of Kirk Hallam Lake and Meadows to highlight the many aspects of the rich wildlife of the site and to include other invited organisations with similar aims to help animals, wildlife and the natural world.

September 2013
Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September - DCC Woodland Festival
From 10am to 5pm each day. Location Elvaston Castle Country Park, near Derby DE72 3EP. It is hoped that we will be having a stand at this event organised by the DCC Countryside Service. More details to follow
